Curriculum Night
Thank you so much to all who attended curriculum night last week. We had a great turnout! We truly appreciate the time you took to come learn about our school and your child's classroom routines, procedures, and curriculum. If you were unable to attend and have questions, please feel free to contact your child's teacher for more information.
Cleanest Classroom Trophy
This year, Mr. Ray is honoring one classroom each week for their extra efforts to keep their room neat and tidy throughout the day. On Monday, we announce the winner for the week during our morning announcements. The winning classroom is able to keep the "Cleanest Classroom" trophy in their room for the entire week.
Mrs. Farnum's class captured the award for the first two weeks! They were hoping for a 3-peat, but Mrs. Adam's class was able to outshine them last week. Be sure to ask your children how they are helping at school and how they can help you at home!

Recess Equipment
We are collecting new or gently used recess equipment for our students to enjoy outside. Our four square and basketball lines have been repainted, so the kids would love to have more basketballs or playground balls to use on the courts.
Student Council
We are excited to inform you that we are starting a student council this year at Brooks! Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will have the opportunity to to be elected as a representative for their class. Each class will elect two representatives to serve on the Brooks Student Council. Our meetings will be held at lunch twice per month.
In our first year, we hope to have the students lead us in developing projects that will serve our school, our community, and our state. We look forward to working with our students in this leadership role. Students will be asked to commit to attending our meetings and working together toward our goals.
