Brooks Survey
Families,
Every school creates and implements a school improvement plan. Part of the process is to collect feedback from all stakeholder groups. The survey linked below will take between 5 – 10 minutes. Filling out the survey will provide perspective on what we do as a school. We want to know how you think Brooks meets the needs of students and families.

Blessings in a Backpack
Because hunger doesn't take a break on the weekend, the Huron Valley Optimist Club has undertaken the Blessings in a Backpack program in Huron Valley Schools. We are thrilled that the Optimist Club has chosen Brooks as their first school to support. Donations to the Huron Valley program, which will support our Brooks students, can be made at www.nwcommunityfoundation.org. A donation of $100 will provide one student with a backpack full of food every week throughout the school year.
For more information about Blessings in a Backpack, please visit www.blessingsinabackpack.org. There are also brochures in the Brooks office with more information about the program.
There will be many opportunities to volunteer and support the program in the near future. Please be watching for more information in the coming weeks.

Jump Rope for Heart
Thanks to all of our students and families for participating in Jump Rope for Heart this year! We had a great turnout at Lakeland and our students raised just over $4,800 for the American Heart Association! Special thanks to Mr. Wank for teaching our students such great jump roping skills and the importance for supporting a worthy cause. Thank you to our volunteer crew of teachers and parents who make these events possible for our kids. Thank you Angela Willis, Tracy Herman, and Diana Gnotek for helping our students register and sign-in and out. Thank you to Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Landry, and Mrs. Miller for joining us at Lakeland. A special thanks to our mascot extraordinaire, Spencer Landry.
